Columbia County and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. are partnering to provide a full, complete, and thorough review and revision to the County’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations. The project will include a robust community engagement process including pop-up events throughout the County, within the 18-month project timeline. This website will help community members, board members and interested parties track the project progress. Both Columbia County and Kimley-Horn are excited to complete this update to ensure the growth of the County is sustainable and thoughtful.

The Comprehensive Plan has just started the revisions process. Once it is published, the copy of the revised Comprehensive Plan can be found here.

This partnership will also provide a full, complete, and thorough review and revision to the County’s Land Development Regulations (LDR).

The LDR’s have just begun revisions, as well. Once a draft of the LDR becomes available, a copy can be found here.
